It all started with a wire mouse...

When I was 14 years old, I took a class in sculpting. I'm lucky the school system where I was raised provided us with a wide range of art classes and I took every one that was offered. I didn't know I was a sculptor (or an artist for that matter) until I took this one class. The first assignment was for us to form an animal with wire, I made a mouse...and I was hooked.

 

This lead me to sculpt in every medium I had access to. Clay, stone, plaster and fiber.  I have expanded my skills to abstract painting and always look for opportunities to merge the two. 

 

My Torn Series has been such a success, I haven't had the time to expand my menu of designs but I have many more planned so subscribe to my site HERE in order to see what's coming next.
